U by Kotex products

I am a person who likes to try new things. So I got my period and I walked into my local pharmacy and I seen the "sleek" tampons. Now I have never been able to comfortably wear a tampon, BUT I'm always willing to try new things. So I brought them home and the packaging was great! Black! So you couldn't see the nasty-ness of the applicator. So as I unwrapped the rest of it, the rubber on the applicator was a great thing too!  No slip! I was in heaven. Since then I have gotten the "click" and once again, I have fallen in love. So compact and great colored pacakging. I simply love my U by Kotex products! They allow me the freedom to do what I want to do without feeling uncomfortable about my period. I feel safe from leaks! I also love the colorful packaging. I’ve also made so many great new friends and learned tons about my health and body by being a part of Team U by Kotex! I am sharing with you my thoughts on U by Kotex and making it more confortable to talk vaginal health and periods with Generation Know. I am part of Team U by Kotex and Generation Know and these are my thoughts.

Feminine Health Advice

When I first got my period I was with my dad. No  one told me about bringing pads with me. Every time I went to the bathroom and brought my ‘purse’ with me, I could tell that the family was looking at me and I felt so embarrassed. Or i would make sure to removed the pad carefully and make as little noise as possible! That was just uderly silly! That’s why I am a part of Team U by Kotex and Generation Know to let the next generation of girls, like my niece in law Alyssa, know that having your period is nothing to be ashamed of and that it is awesome being a woman! She just had a baby girl so she can now pass down the Generation Know advice that I have been giving her.

Girls For A Change!

Welcome to another blog post :) Today I am writing about "Girls For A Change", a team U by Kotex challenge. I am part of Team U By Kotex and we are trying to spread the word about feminine health and how it really is ok to talk about periods, vaginas and reproductive health. Here is my story....I was born 15 years after my oldest sister and 11 years after my middle sister. So when I was stating my period, they were in there mid to late 20's and already out of the house. My mom was a single mother and we never talked about periods and what I was about to experience. My dad was very much in my life and I seen him every other weekend. Well, one of those weekends I started my period. I had NOBODY! I was so scared. I had to use toilet paper cause I just couldn't go to my dad! (In a sarcastic voice LOL) But I really couldn't. So I got home and my mom was doing my laundry. She asked me about the stains on my underwear. I told her it was a wet fart and it was never brought up again. I was, and I hate to say it, ashamed. Well not anymore! I am in my 30's and loud and proud of my period. It really is a wonderful thing. Ya they cramps suck, but what amazing thing your body is doing, it surpasses the pain. So since I am more bold and open, Team U by Kotex, Generation Know and a group of wonderful woman, including myself, are spreading the word about period health and truths. Influenster 2012 Holiday VoxBox product reviews.

So I revived my Holiday VoxBox from Influenster on December 23, 2012. It was perfect timing! In the box was Quaker Real Medley's oatmeal. I received the apple walnut oatmeal. It was so easy to prepare and sooo Yummy! I followed the microwave directions, but you can also just pour boiling water in and let it steep for 3 minutes. Super easy! And fresh :) So next was the Kiss Nail Dress. These were the first thing I tried out of the box cause I was so excited to try them. Super EASY and looked amazing. I actually applied them to the Broadway ImPress nails that I rave about. Everyone at Christmas LOVED them :) they didn't stay on the nails as long as I had hoped, but I will be using them again! On to the Goody QuickStyle hair brush....goofy looking but very smart! With the mircofiber nubbies, it helps with soaking up water in wet hair. And since I don't blow dry, its great for winter. I'm a little worried about it beginning to smell musty though, but ill get back to you on that. The NYC LipShine is also great! I received the Nude #582. It states that it is non-sticky and they are right. Gives your lips the perfect shine. Great for someone who doesn't wear a lot of makeup like myself. I haven't tried the chocolate masks yet. But I'm afraid ill want to eat it LOL OH! Also got a $25 off my first purchase at Sole Society. Excited to check them out also. Never have I used them, so I don't know how the prices are. The Natural Energy Boost will get consumed on NYE so I can stay awake and watch the ball drop! Thank you again Influenster. It totally made my holiday that much better :)

Influenster Holiday VoxBox!

Hi everyone! It's Tuesday December 18, 2012 and last night I got the email saying I was chosen for the Holiday VoxBox! I can't wait to get it to see what is in it! The last package I got from Influenster was 3 full size bottles of Palmolive Fresh Infusions dish soap. I was given some tasks to do, I fulfilled them to the best of my ability. Influenster!

hi, Jessica here and I am gonna tell you all about Influenster! I found out about this site from a Facebook friend. Never met this girl but she was always getting samples to try and always posting about stuff. So I asked her and she told me about www.influenster.com. I decided to check it out. At first it was a little confusing cause all I did was answer questions. Nothing happened. Until one day I got an email saying I have been pre-selected for a VoxBox. I was soooo excited. I hurried up and logged on and next email said you will be receiving your box within a few weeks. I was so excited to be part of my first VoxBox. I followed what I was supposed to do, even set up this blog. Never had one before LOL but I like to tell people how I feel about products, so I am happy I did set up this blog and I'm even happier I am a part of the Influenster team :)
